Dates announced for the 2010 SW Ugly Tour sponsored by West Country Boat Repairs
After the huge success of the 2009 RS200 SW Ugly Tour the dates have been announced for the 2010 SW Ugly Tour sponsored by West Country Boat Repairs. Again there will be 5 events at undoubtly some of the best and most picturesque venues in the UK with three events to count.
The tour starts on Saturday March 27th at Bristol CYC, last year this event attracted a bumper entry of 39 boats.
Then we move onto a new venue with the tours first visit to Chew Valley Lake SC on Sunday May 2nd. The RS200 National Inland Championships are also at CVLSC on Oct 16/17.
Third event is at Starcross YC on the Exe estuary on Saturday June 5th. RS200's first ever visit to this venue in 2009 atracted a great entry of 30 boats.
Fourth event is a return to the majestic venue of Mounts Bay SC on Sept 4/5, the only two day event of the Tour.
The final event is again at Exe SC on Saturday Oct 2nd sure to attract more than the 27 boats in 2009.
There will be prizes for silver and bronze divisions at every event.
Anyone who takes part in three events will be entered into a draw for a brand new RS200 spinnaker; the 2009 winner of the new spinnaker was Rosie Sands from Exe SC.
